CLUB NEWS
BONDED BY BELIEF SINCE 1878
You may have noticed a few
changes in how the club branding
is looking? Over the Summer period
behind the screens the marketing
team have been working on a new
set of brand guidelines, club 昀椀lm
and new styling, giving match day
and club assets a fresh new look.
Club Manifesto
Belief isn’t blind optimism.
It’s a strength of character that was forged in the
Black Country before they created a team and before
that team became the Albion.
We’ve always believed in the power of football to bring
people together.
While we put 11 players on the pitch, we know that every
second is lived and re-lived by many thousands more.
That’s why our hearts and doors have always been
open to everyone and always will.
Because being a Baggie isn’t just about the points.
It’s about our communities.
Our shared connections.
Bonds that are way bigger than stripes and colours,
but something deep inside that 昀氀ows through the
generations.
We’re more than just a club, we’re a culture built on
honesty and integrity.
A shared belief that through teamwork and hard work
we can make great things happen and an undying
commitment to never stop trying.
To the world, we’re West Brom.
To our family, we are the Albion – and everyone is
welcome.

The main objective of such a
project is to ultimately enhance
fan engagement and for fans and
visitors to the club to see and feel and
energised environment.
“The 昀椀rst step in the process as to
bring things back to basics. By this I
mean asking questions such as “what
does West Bromwich Albion mean
to sta昀昀 and fans?” What is our club
manifesto, what do we stand by? By
establishing this, the essence of the
brand can be developed” Explains
Head of Marketing Rachel Rankin.
By doing this work we established
four key words that sta昀昀 and fans can
identify with – Heritage. Belonging.
Devotion and Bounce.
When you next come to the club,
please make sure to come to the
reception and you will see these on
the reception walls.
This is a substantial project for the
team to undertake, and an exciting
one. Fans and visitors will start to see
some small visual changes, however
there is much more to come!
