families’ dietary requirements. This created another
fantastic opportunity for our families to mix with each
other, make new friends and share similar experiences.
Over lunch we had some football themed sensory
colouring available for all the children. We also drew
the winning ra昀툀e ticket where a family could win an
amazing oversized cuddly dog toy.
Here are a few comments made by our families who
joined the day at the Hawthorns:
‘We would like to thank Blind Dave, Jay and Mo for
sharing their inspirational stories. Very motivating!’
‘We want to say a huge thank you for today! We had an
amazing time. It was planned so well and everything
about the day was perfect! All the sta昀昀 were so friendly,
supportive, understanding and helpful and it really
means so much.’
At the end of the day all children were awarded with
a trophy and certi昀椀cate, with thanks to The Albion
Foundation. Our 昀椀nal goodbyes were led by two young
Blind footballers, who gave our families another
inspiring message to go home with ‘Your children can
do anything’!

This day really was one that will never be forgotten.
And we hope we will have the opportunity to visit again
in the future.
